VALUE AND PHILOSOPHY
Safety is our number one priority. At AMS, we are committed to being the industry leader in the safety and welfare of our employees, our customers, and all those associated with our industry. Our award winning safety program is a direct reflection of our commitment. Safety is not just a fiscal responsibility, it is a moral obligation.
Zero Accident = Intervention + Response
The AMS commitment to safety is an integral part of our corporate infrastructure. Every effort is made in the best interest of accident prevention, safety, and health protection in order to ensure this goal. It is the policy of AMS to perform every project in the safest possible manner in an attempt to prevent accidents and injuries. At AMS, we believe that the majority of accidents can be prevented provided that potential safety hazards are recognized, reported to the appropriate person, and remediated immediately.
-AMS is committed to the philosophy and practice
of achieving and sustaining an accident free work environment.-
The management of AMS believes that accident prevention is a constant and shared responsibility. Each employee’s daily routine must have safety built into every aspect. All of our employees commit to upholding the standards of OSHA as well as the safety standards set forth by our customers and our company. Further employee participation includes ongoing safety education and training, self-evaluation and pre-planning, as well as accountability for their share in the prevention of accidents for their own personal safety, and for the safety of the environment in which they are working in. In addition, our safety management team and project managers are responsible and accountable for the implementation of all onsite work procedures placing the highest priority on maintaining a harm-free work environment.
-At AMS “Zero Accident” is more than just a statement. It is a reality.-
